This Privacy Policy explains how the SudaSudaVandi Restaurant Partner app (“the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when a restaurant owner or staff member (“you”, “the vendor”) uses the App to manage their restaurant on the SudaSudaVandi food-ordering platform. This App is intended for registered restaurant partners only and is not a consumer-facing app.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Phone number — used to sign you in to the App through a one-time password (OTP) verification.
• Restaurant account details — your restaurant name, vendor ID, and related store information already registered on the SudaSudaVandi platform.
• Menu and shop information — menu items, prices, stock status, availability time slots, and shop open/closed status that you enter or update in the App.
• Support messages — when you choose to contact support, the App may pre-fill a message to our support team via WhatsApp using your restaurant name and vendor ID.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Push notification token (FCM) — a device token from Firebase Cloud Messaging, used to send you order alerts and operational notifications. The token is linked to your vendor account so that only your own orders are sent to you.
• Order data — orders placed by customers for your restaurant, including order items, amounts, status, and timestamps, shown so you can accept and fulfil them.
• Device and technical information — basic information such as app version and device type, used for reliable delivery of notifications and troubleshooting.

1.3 Camera and photos

The App requests access to your device camera and photo gallery only when you choose to add or update a menu item image. Images you select are uploaded to your restaurant’s menu on the SudaSudaVandi platform. We do not access your camera or gallery in the background or for any other purpose.

3. Notifications

The App sends push notifications for new orders and related operational events. Notifications are targeted to your vendor account only — you will not receive other restaurants’ orders or customer-facing notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings, but doing so means you may miss incoming orders.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as needed to operate the platform:

• Firebase (Google LLC) — for phone-number authentication and push notification delivery. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Our hosting and platform infrastructure — order, menu, and account data are stored on the SudaSudaVandi platform servers to operate your restaurant’s ordering service.
• WhatsApp — only when you tap to contact support; the message is sent through your own WhatsApp app.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users and the platform.

5. Data retention

We retain your account, menu, and order information for as long as your restaurant remains an active partner on the SudaSudaVandi platform, and as required for record-keeping and legal obligations. Push notification tokens are removed when you log out of the App or when they become invalid.

6. Data security

Information is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data against unauthorised access.

7. Your rights and choices

• Log out — logging out removes your notification token from this device.
• Notification control — manage notification permissions in your device settings.
• Access, correction, or deletion — you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us using the details below. Deleting your vendor account will remove your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Children

The App is a business tool intended for adult restaurant owners and staff. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or by other reasonable means.
