Refund and Cancellation

At Suda Suda Vandi, we strive to ensure every order is delivered accurately and on time. This policy outlines the conditions under which orders may be cancelled and refunds may be issued.

1. Order Cancellation

Cancellation by Customer

Before restaurant accepts: You may cancel your order free of charge if the restaurant has not yet accepted it.  

After restaurant accepts: Once the restaurant has accepted and started preparing your order, cancellation is not possible as food preparation has begun.

After dispatch: Orders that are already out for delivery cannot be cancelled.

Cancellation by Restaurant

In rare cases, a restaurant may cancel your order due to unavailability of items, unexpected closure, or inability to prepare the order. In such cases, you will receive a full refund.

Cancellation by Suda Suda Vandi

We may cancel an order if the delivery address is outside our service area, if we are unable to contact you to confirm details, if we suspect fraudulent activity, or due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, strikes, etc.).

2. Refund Policy

Full Refund Eligible Cases

– Order cancelled before restaurant acceptance

– Order cancelled by the restaurant

– Order not delivered at all

– Completely wrong order delivered (different items than ordered)

– Payment charged but order not placed (technical error)

Partial Refund or Replacement

– Missing items from the order (refund for missing items only)

– Partially wrong order (refund for incorrect items)

No Refund Cases

– Order delivered successfully but customer changes mind

– Taste preference complaints (this is subjective and varies)

– Minor delays in delivery

– Incorrect address provided by customer leading to failed delivery

– Customer unavailable at delivery location

3. Refund Process

How to Request a Refund

Contact us within 24 hours of order delivery via WhatsApp at +91 90871 52059 or email at admin@sudasudavandi.com. Please provide your order number, description of the issue, and photos of the issue (for wrong/damaged items).

Refund Timeline

Cash on Delivery orders: Refund will be credited to your account as store credit or adjusted in your next order, or returned via UPI within 3-5 business days.

Online payment orders (Razorpay): Refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Razorpay processing time may add 2-3 additional business days.

4. Delivery Fee Refund

Delivery fees are refunded only when the order is cancelled before restaurant acceptance, or the order is not delivered due to our fault. Delivery fees are not refundable for orders that are successfully delivered.

5. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate the issue by emailing us at sudasudavandi@gmail.com with the subject line “Refund Dispute – Order #[your order number]”. We will review your case and respond within 48 hours.
